Have a healthy breakfast

It also reduces your cravings for sugar and high-fat foods. The must for your protein rich breakfasts are: A high-protein smoothie, Cottage cheese and fruits, Fortified cereal with milk and some Greek yogurt. You can also have sandwiches made from whole-grain bread and oatmeal as they are good source of fiber. Try to replace your coffee by green tea as it contains powerful antioxidants and promotes fat burning and you surely don’t want to miss on those benefits.

Practice physical exercise to burn some extra calories

Something which people don’t like indulging in due to their laziness and also sometimes due to the hectic schedule and the pressure of work they don’t find the enough time to spend on physical activities. But for all the people out there who are looking forward to live a healthy and happy life it’s the high time that you start practicing physical activity if you haven’t yet started.

Due to such negligence we tend to gain unhealthy weight. It’s not necessary to hit gym to be fit and do intense workout. You can do any physical activity of your choice be it brisk walking, jogging, running, dancing, aerobics, cycling or swimming. Practicing exercise regularly will help to improve your mood and reduce stress. Even small things like taking stairs instead of elevator make a lot of difference as it will help you to burn some additional calories.

Detox drinks to clean all the toxins from your body

It’s a good idea to start your day with some detox drink like drinking a glass of warm water with 1/2 half lemon and a tea spoon of honey mixed in the warm water will help to flush out toxins, improves digestion, balances the pH level and helps you maintain a healthy weight.

Another option of detox drink can be mixing a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar into a glass of warm water you can also add honey or a natural sweetener like stevia to these detox drinks. Though lemons and apple cider vinegar are acidic in nature, they have an alkalizing effect on the body. But note that it may lead to heart burn or acidity if you drink in excess or if you are prone to acidity. You can also add detox smoothies made from various fruits and vegetables in your meal as they will serve two purposes first you do not need to separately consume fruits and vegetables and second it will help to detox your body.

Drink lots of water

It’s always stressed on to consume maximum amount of water that’s because water is an essential element to carry out all the metabolic processes of our body and so it’s important to keep yourself hydrated. Water also helps to maintain the consistency of blood and to remove toxins from the body. You should consume water after every hour or two at the most. Plain filtered water is the best for the consumption. Minimum of at least 3 – 4 litres of water one needs to be consumed in a day.

Get adequate sleep

Yes, you may have important assignments and projects to complete before the deadline but that simply doesn’t mean you cut down on your sleep to complete those tasks. It’s not a good idea to cut down on your sleep as doing this leads to weight gain and obesity. Also it slows down your metabolism and affects your hormones, thus increasing your hunger and decreasing your satiety after a meal.

Basically when you are asleep your mind and body relax and heal themselves and prepare for the next day but if you do not get enough sleep and the healing process is not completed you will not feel fully rejuvenated. For any normal human being sleep of at least 7-8 hours is a must to keep you fit and healthy.
