Daniel Craig has reportedly signed up a deal to make his fifth and sixth appearance as the infamous British spy in the upcoming James Bond movies.
The deal was sealed after the producer of the film Barbara Broccoli persuaded the actor to act in two more James Bond films. Moreover, the next James Bond movie is going to go ahead with the show stealing name of ‘Shatterhand’.
Talking about the matter, a source recently told The Sun newspaper:
“There was plenty of talk about who would be the next Bond but Barbara has managed to talk Daniel into two more films.”
The source further added that the audience loves watching Daniel portray the role of James Bond. The love can be directly seen in terms of the box office numbers of the film. His previous James Bond movie was a success as well. Later, the source also added the title of the next movie in its statement. The source actually reported:
“He is loved by audiences around the world and has driven a real resurgence for the movies at the box office, so bosses knew they couldn’t lose him just yet. The script is nearly ready for the 25th film, provisionally titled ‘Shatterhand’ and scheduled to be released in November 2019, so there is no time to waste on getting Daniel locked in.”
Also, the source denied that the producers are not planning to make a remake of ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ by any means by stating:
“But the deal is almost done and the idea of returning to ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ for the 26th movie is really exciting. The film sees James get married, only for his wife to be killed, so it would be an explosive way to end his reign as 007.”
