With the help of Ravindra Jadeja 5-wicket haul in the second innings, India defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 53 runs. He also played an unbeaten knock of 70 in the only innings played by India. In the entire match, Ravindra Jadeja took seven wickets.

Dimuth Karunaratne is at #24 after jumping 13 places. Kusal Mendis jumped up 10 places and is now ranked #19 ICC test batsman.
