Lucas Perez wants to leave this summer after an ugly gesture by Arsenal towards the striker who has been signed by them last season from Deportivo La Coruna for a price of £17.1million. The Spaniard made only 11 appearances for the club last season and don’t want to continue as he knows that this season is going to be tougher for him in terms of getting playing time.

Arsenal is doing great at the moment after capturing their long-term transfer target Alexandre Lacazette and winning against FC Bayern Munchen to win the Audi Cup to boost the morale of the players before the real thing. With Alexis Sanchez being linked to PSG and also no comments from Sanchez on his status is a story which is grabbing all the headlines but in the middle of this there’s someone who is fuming at the Arsenal’s Boss Arsene Wenger and that is none other than their hyped-boy of last season Lucas Perez.

Perez wants to go back to Deportivo from where it all started for him. The problem which Perez has casted here to the press is that, “I want to leave, to play and be happy,” Perez told Law, according to La Voz de Galicia.

“Last year I barely had any opportunities and when I had them I took advantage of them. And this season is clearly going to be more of the same. I want to fight to go to the national team. I want to play football, but for that I have to leave. And I think that the best place for me is at home, with Depor.”

“They (Arsenal) are not behaving well with me, the thing of taking the shirt number without telling me to give it to a companion; it seems to me the last straw. I cannot continue this way. I have given everything, but that has not been reciprocated, so I can’t stand it any longer. Am feeling cheated. In February I was not allowed to leave for China with the promise that I would play more and after that I had even fewer opportunities.”

“But the shirt number is an ugly gesture. On the trip, Lacazette asked the boss and he accepted. Afterwards, he told me. Last year he (Wenger) told me that he understood that I was upset. I think this season things will get worse, so help me out. To play the World Cup is a dream. But for that I have to play and I have to be happy. That’s why I want to go back to Coruna.”

Thus, it clearly shows that Arsenal didn’t behaved well with Perez and also is questioned Wenger’s ability of man management as things has reached to the worst level as Deportivo have tabled an amazing offer of 10-years contract with a view of offering Spaniard the place of technical secretary at the club in order to re-sign him.
