“There was a study done in a hospital in U.S.A on 100 elderly people facing death close to their last breath. They were asked to reflect on their lives biggest regrets and nearly all of them said they regretted not for the things they did but the things they didn’t do”. My grandmother also once said to me that, “Every person on this earth has done something good in their previous birth that’s why they have been rewarded as human beings in this birth to see a dream and try their best to achieve it”.
What if all the tales of ‘Rebirth’ which we read in books are false and what if we all have is just this very single life? We don’t know when we’re going to die, whether we will live till our 70s or not we don’t know. So, why we’re not doing something for making our dreams come true to give our life a beautiful meaning.
One day you’ll be lying on a hospital bed and Yama will show you the watch with ‘5 minutes left’ and your whole life will start playing in front of your eyes. At that very moment will you be proud of your life? Will you be happy with the things you done? Will you be crying because you’re going to lose your wonderful life or because you lived a life full of regrets? It’s high time to think about this question.
Whenever I ask someone what is your dream? The first thing I get from them is a confusing smile, then their two embarrassing fingers searching for some answers in between their hairs and at the end they tell me the name of their favourite hobby. People often mix their passions with their hobbies and this is what separates the people performing on stage from the people sitting on the seats.
We all have many friends in our lives and those friends are like HOBBIES but there’s always a friend more important to us than others and whom we call as our best friend and that best friend is our PASSION. Whenever you feel confuse in life just ask yourself that can you do this thing for the rest of your life with a smile on your face?
At the starting you’ll not get big bucks but can you still do this? So, will you accept this offer? If yes, then without a second thought just go for your dream. The Biggest and most important step in a person’s life is that very first step towards his dream and many people drop this idea because that first step is always wrapped-up with DOUBT and CRITICISM.
Every person on this earth is good at something but they keep on showcasing their talents in the caves of their COMFORT ZONES because they start questioning their talent and unable to accept the fact that they can’t please everyone in this world and forget that even GOD also have its very own haters. So, we should do what we love, learn from genuine criticisms but should never STOP doing what we love just because of some haters and losers.
We only have ONE life and in this one life we should do what our heart beats for because nobody is going to be bothered by the fact that you’re going to die one day with loads of regrets in your heart for not doing what you love just because of them.
Michael Jordan was dropped from his high school basketball team, he cried all day long but tried again, Oprah Winfrey was demoted from her job as a news anchor because she wasn’t fit for T.V. but she tried again, Dr. Seuss first book was rejected by 27 publishers but he tried again and Steve Jobs at the age of 30 years was unceremoniously removed from the company he started but he tried again and we all know who they are and what they’ve achieved.
So, we all are going to face problems and failures but we have to keep on TRYING because success wants a consistent hardworking dreamer. In this one life, we should know what our DREAM is and we should follow it without caring about FAILURES because it’s better to keep on trying rather than crying for the rest of your life.
“Don’t waste your life because we don’t know how much we’re going to live and that’s why we should start achieving our dream today before the clock runs down”.
